Flavours of Balaton in Budapest
The winemakers of Lake Balaton will have the leading role in Budapest from 29. April to 1. May. The third Balaton Region Wine Festival have a high standard cultural offer with excellent wines and delicious Hungarian foods.
Among thousands of visitors of the Festival, you can meet with the winemaker artists of Lake Balaton, who will acquaint the interested ones with their wines and the philosophy of wine making.
During the Festival you can find jazz, folk music, world music and etno funk in the musical offer.
Besides more than 100 wine specialities there will be a lot of amazing food. From among the flavours of Lake Balaton the fish soup cannot be missed. But who desires more than taste cakes prepared according to grandmas' prescriptions.
To the wines various cheeses and of course roasts are offered.
The Festival takes place in the Erzsébet square in the downtown, which was renewed recently and was extended by green environment.
